A footpath leads over two fields from the farmyard to Crymych where there are a couple of pubs and a selection of village stores. There is a lot to do in the area including walking the mystical Preseli hills, Pembrokeshire coastal path or visiting the numerous galleries and attractions in the county.
This newly converted barn has been restored in a sympathetic and ecologically sound way incorporating original features and solar panels. Entrance is into the sitting room which has a slate tiled floor with rug, comfortable sofas, coffee table, TV with DVD and occasional furniture. Double doors lead to the conservatory which has wonderful views of Foel Drygarn, the Preseli hills and sea beyond, it is furnished with a cane three piece suite and table and a door leads to the patio and garden. The kitchen / dining room has a range of fitted oak units, fridge/freezer, electric oven, ceramic hob, half size dishwasher, microwave and views from the sink! The dining area has a table and 6 chairs. There is an outside utility store with a washing machine and tumble dryer. Bedroom 1 is a downstairs bedroom with twin beds, wardrobe and chest of drawers. Upstairs there are two more bedrooms. Bedroom 2 is the master bedroom and has a king size bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside tables. Bedroom 3 has a single bed, bedside chest and wardrobe. There is a Z-bed for occasional use which can be placed in bedroom 2 or 3, please state preference. The family bathroom has a suite of bath with shower over, WC and wash hand basin. There is a downstairs WC and wash hand basin. All the beds are made up with fresh linen for your arrival and towels are included. A standard cot, highchair and stairgate are available. Up to 2 well behaved pets are welcome but must be kept on a lead when outside as this is a working farm. No smoking. Heating is by solar panels and oil, it is included from May to September and a flat rate charge of £25 is made at all other times, please pay owner. There is parking for 2 cars beside the cottage. The pretty garden has a lawn and patio area and is enclosed by a picket fence. A sturdy garden table and chairs are provided as well as a barbecue for al-fresco evenings watching the sunset over the sea. The owners live in the main farmhouse and will respect your privacy.
