A quiet lane banked with spring flowers leads to this pretty stone cottage, the peaceful situation makes it an idyllic retreat. From the cottage the lane continues up to Carn Ingli mountain which is spectacular in all seasons. The many ancient footpaths which cross the mountain are now well mapped and signposted. It is only a few minutes walk from the cottage into the heart of Newport village, which is served by a good selection of small shops and restaurants.

Accommodation

The stable door entrance opens into the sitting room which has mellow stone walls, beamed ceiling, an open fire and is comfortably furnished with settee, easy chairs, colour TV, video and items of occasional furniture. The old inglenook fireplace has been incorporated into the dining area which is equipped with a good sized table and chairs. The kitchen contains fitted units, electric cooker, fridge/freezer, automatic washer drier, dishwasher and microwave oven. The bathroom, which is on the ground floor, contains bath with overhead shower, wash hand basin and WC. Upstairs there are two prettily decorated and furnished bedrooms, the main bedroom contains a double bed and the second bedroom contains twin beds. Bedlinen is provided for the beds which have duvets. A cot and highchair are available. Telephone for incoming calls only. There are night storage heaters and electric heaters throughout and electricity will be charged according to use. The lawned garden at the rear is extremely sheltered and garden furniture is provided. There is ample parking space alongside the cottage. One pet is welcome. Towels are not provided.
