There are walks directly from the cottages (2 miles) to Llys y Fran Country Park and Reservoir which has a 6.5 mile perimeter and offers the chance to hire mountain bikes for a ride or a loch style boat for a fishing trip; you can even bring your own sailing boat if you wish. The Preseli Hills are nearby and offer some of Pembrokeshire's most beautiful and dramatic walking and scenery. Broad Haven beach is approx 12 miles and Newport is 12 miles, there are numerous other Blue Flag beaches within easy driving distance of the cottages. The County Town of Haverfordwest is just a 10 minute drive.
